Is Trap dead? Unlikely. Is A State Of Trap Dead? Not at all – we’ve even got stickers now. The other big news – our podcast now has chapter markers, meaning you can jump around song by song and see what track is playing in iTunes! Awesome.

Oh what you thought we’d dissappear for another month or something? Not likely, ASOTrap 15 is ready to rock already, so get ready to ride in style to brand new beats from around the world – including tracks by friends of the hosts Giraffage and Illesha! Swag.

This week A State of Trap Episode 14 is brought to you by “shotguns” and barley wine. Well, mostly just shotguns; however, this mix was recorded right after going to the annual San Francisco Barley Wine Festival (which is great), getting good and crunk and then inspired to play some bumpin’ trap beats. And since it’s been such a long hiatus since ASOT 12, there were all sorts of tracks to catch up on and ASOT 14 delivers with 25 trap/trill bangers. But don’t worry there are plenty of other trap hits to come and the next episode is right around the corner. As usual, checkout the full track listing below (or via mixcloud).
And in case you forgot, A State Of Trap is a podcast on iTunes so you can hit that up to hear the mixes in full 320kbps audio quality. And don’t forget that with a simple subscribe below, A State Of Trap will appear in your itunes as soon as hits the internets.
Since Episode 10 was posted, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the number of podcast listeners – WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE? Seriously, thanks to everyone for listening and supporting A State Of Trap, and we’re excited to see what 2013 brings for the genres of trap, trill, twerk, and other derviatives.
Finally, here’s Episode 11, featuring THIRTY tracks from producers old and new. Enjoy the lastest in trap music, ya’ll.
Episode 006 arrived earlier this week and is now finally riding the slow current from the mixcloud to the podwaves. As always, this episode features lots of new trap and (future) trill infused tracks and remixes for your listening pleasure.
And in case you forgot or didn’t know, we’re on iTunes now, repping that swanky swagged out trapcentric podcast life. And although it may sound glamorous, don’t be too jealous…it’s not really that swanky.
We’re back with another hour-long mix by Flashflooder to start off the week, with loads of new trap and trill to check out.
Also exciting, we’re now on the iTunes Music Store, meaning that complete strangers can now find our podcast if they type “trap” into their podcast searches. Will anyone ever do that? It remains to be seen.
