A State Of Trap had our first ever live episode on Mixify last week, with a ton of awesome jams and feedback provided from our live audience. We rocked it hard – look out for future live mixes in the future!
A State Of Trap is the #1 “trap” podcast on iTunes so get on that to hear the mixes in full 320kbps audio quality (except for this live episode, sorry!). A simple subscribe and A State Of Trap will download into your iTunes library each time we upload a new one.
Is Trap dead? Unlikely. Is A State Of Trap Dead? Not at all – we’ve even got stickers now. The other big news – our podcast now has chapter markers, meaning you can jump around song by song and see what track is playing in iTunes! Awesome.

Episode Thirteen has been a very long time coming, and with Bauuer’s Harlem Shake on the top charted position around the world, trap fans are asking themselves: what’s next? Is trap over?

For those of you worried about the next episode, 14 is already on the way to its final stages, so get ready for a really trap-filled month.

Since Episode 10 was posted, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the number of podcast listeners – WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE? Seriously, thanks to everyone for listening and supporting A State Of Trap, and we’re excited to see what 2013 brings for the genres of trap, trill, twerk, and other derviatives.
Finally, here’s Episode 11, featuring THIRTY tracks from producers old and new. Enjoy the lastest in trap music, ya’ll.
It’s hard to believe we’re already at nine episodes! Congratulations all around to all of you for being a part of this awesome experience putting together the freshest trap and trill productions for you in podcast format.
We’re not sure what’s next for this genre, but this episode absolutely has a number of trap derivatives that hint at productions to come from producers who might be tiring of the prototypical style of tracks that we’ve been hearing all summer. Let us know your thoughts about the trap game evolution in comments!
The seventh edition of our increasingly popular podcast is live – this episode actually got livestreamed over on the DJ TechTools stream as a part of a seven hour stream featuring myself and the legendary Mitch Manchild.
Pay close attention to some of the wild turns we take here – some serious throwback remixes and two great trap tracks to rock at your Halloween parties this coming weekend!
